Open Class

Our open age classes offer a fun, exciting opportunity for gymnasts of all levels to participate. We encourage new gymnasts as well as those who have moved through our Badge programme to join. We offer separate classes for boys and girls. Both classes warm up together, then split after to work with their coaches on new challenges.

Our experienced coaches understand that every child has their own strengths and weaknesses, and are fully accommodating to any of the gymnasts needs, whether that is making something easier, or challenging a gymnast to extend their abilities. It is encouraged for gymnasts to bring in their own goals of skills they want to learn.

If your child is asking about trying gymnastics, and over the age of 9, this is the class for them.

Girls Open

With a focus on gender specific apparatus this class introduces gymnasts to new skills and skill combinations on floor, uneven bars, balance beam and vault. Shape, conditioning and flexibility are core components of the class. Our girls open class caters for new and experienced gymnasts.

Boys Open

Boys Open focuses primarily on the 6 apparatus involved in men’s artistic gymnastics; rings, pommel, vault, floor, parallel bars, and high bar. To facilitate learning skills on these apparatus there is also a strong focus on strength and conditioning.
